In 2014, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s National Center for Health Statistics released a report indicating that the rate of twin births have reached a record high. In that year, there were 33.9 twins born per 1,000 births.
Although the majority of us will never know what it’s like to have that special bond, many of us have felt like we’ve had our own “twin.” You know, those people that share our likes and dislikes, and sometimes even look and dress like us.
